Jesus - According to Islam |
---|
Christ/Jesus/Issa is mentioned around 95 times in Quran and 25 times he was mentioned by name. Hence you could find a lot of material on Jesus. Problem is Quran came 600 years after Jesus, and it contradicts a lot of things which history and Bible holds true. We are not even talking about the God with us concept. What this article talks about are the very basic facts which are wrong in Quran.
Lineage of Jesus Christ
Quran tells us about the lineage of Jesus Christ in few verses which are speeded in two different chapters. In these we will see that Quran actually confuses between Mary(the mother of Christ) and Mariam (Sister of Aron and Moses), the confusion is because in Arabic Mary was also translated as Mariam and hence the whole lineage gets into a problem where Mary the mother is Jesus having brother and father of Moses.
The first one is from the Chapter 3 named as Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)
When the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing." (Quran 3:35)
But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and her descendants from Satan, the expelled (Quran 3:36)
So Mary the mother of Christ is born out of the wife of Imran. The verses are so clear that it is not possible to negate them. The Muslims actually try to explain that it is a different Imran, but if you read the chapter you will know that it’s the same Imran the father of Aron and Moses. Even the next few verses will bring the father of John the Baptist. The next verses actually tells us about Zechariah hence the time is of Jesus Christ in the verse 36 and 37
So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, "O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?" She said, "It is from Allah. Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account." (Quran 3:37)
In Quran Chapter 19 named Mariam or Mary verse 28 Quran is called Mary as sister of Aaron describing about her being pregnant without a husband.
O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste (Quran 19:28)
Now Aaron we know was a brother of Moses, and Moses had a father named Imran and a sister named Mariam. Let’s see if this is the same Aron, just a few verses later
And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet. (Quran 19:51)
And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]. (Quran 19:52)
And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. (Quran 19:53)
Now we have the whole family in the picture, the Chapter of Al-Imran and chapter of Mariam (Mary-Mother of Jesus Christ) The problem here is that even when Muslim defend this and says that because Mary was from the same tribe of Moses and that’s why she is called the sister of Aaron they simply cannot put 2 and 2 together because one she is not (yes debatable for Muslim with Christian), and two all of the above verses combined with the wife of Imarn giving birth to Mary and Imran being the father of Aron and Moses put her in the same family not tribe (now that’s not debatable for anyone with even a small sense of logic). Everyone other than Mary were all born 600 years before Mary and still Quran confuses them, because there was Mariam in the Original text of Tora and probably someone took those and put them in Quran not knowing the difference. Because Allah is all knowing and obviously If Allah is writing these verses these could not have had this big of a mistake.
Why Jews didn’t kill Mary
Now the sin of adultery is death according to Old Testament. Jews held that trute hence Mary the mother of Jesus should be killed by Jews and Quran never mention about the engagement of Mary with Joseph. If Joseph is removed out of the picture and we only take the verse of Quran when Jews are accusing her of being an adultery after Jesus was born. But she should have been long killed by the Jews as a pregnancy can be seen very easily.
O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste (Quran 19:28)
So basically Jews blamed Mary for committing adultery. While Joseph not being in picture, there is no way she could have survived by the attacks of Jews. How does Quran defends this? According to Quran Christ spoke in cradle.
So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?" (Quran 19:29) [Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. (Quran 19:30)
Now Jesus spoke and he did not clarify the accusation of Jews but described about him. My problem here is that even if he spoke as soon as he was born still there are at least 4 to 5 months before he was born and pregnancy should be evident. How Mary saved herself from Jews and the laws of Jews at that time.
Second very important question here is that Jesus was given the scriptures right after he was born. Why Allah waited for Muhammad to turn 40 to give him the scriptures? Plus Muhammad was given scriptures few verses at a time by Angle Gabriel in a period of 23 years. Whereas Quran confirms Jesus was given Scriptures right when he was born, yet no other prophet ever had scriptures rights at once even when he was an adult man.
Birth of Jesus - is Like Adam?
Jesus has no father, there is a significance to it. But if we ask a Muslim friend he will not know any but rather he will say Adam did not have a father as well, and Quran actually states that Allah created Jesus just like he created Adam.
Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was. (Quran 3:59)
This is another contradiction in Quran, Adam and Jesus were not created alike, according to Quran itself not from any other source. Adam was created in three steps first Allah created mud from clay, then formed Adam and then a sprit was put into him just as Quran states …. It’s not Allah saying “Kun” means “be done” and it just happened as per above verse.
And when your Lord said to the angels: ‘I am going to create a human (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him.” (Quran 38:71-72)
So three steps:
- First clay of altered black smooth mud
- Fashioning of the body of Adam
- Putting his soul into him
As we have already read verse 47 of Chapter 3, let’s look at it again to see the birth miracle described to Mary and Quran states:
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. (Quran 3:47)
So Allah only have to say “Be” the Arabic word is “Kun” and it is. Is this how Adam was created? Unfortunately not, because the chapter 38 verse 71 and 72 clearly defines how Adam was created. If you still do not agree with “Kun” please let’s go back to chapter 38 and carry on where we left earlier.
So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" (Quran 38:73-75)
Read the world “My hands” so Allah created Adam with his own hands in 3 steps. This is the first creation and Allah asked all the angles to prostrate to Adam. Isn’t that wrong to begin with? Why should a created being should prostrate to any other created being except the Lord almighty? So is human being GOD for angles? (Topic for another day)
According to Quran, every human being is created by the interaction of a man and women
And He it is Who has created man from water and then produced from him two sorts of kindred: by descent and by intercourse. Your Lord is All-Powerful (Quran 25:54)
Tafsir al-Jalalayan actually gives the commentary as “And He it is Who created man from water He created from a sperm-drop a human being and made for him ties of blood and ties of marriage whether it be a male or a female they Mary for the purposes of procreation”
So Quran states after Adam, no human being is created without sex of a male and female. So why Jesus came without the male interaction. This is another conflict against the claims of Muslims. Let’s see what Quran says about the birth of Jesus in Chapter 21 verse 91
And the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her our Spirit through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds. (Quran 21:91)
Conflicts to observe are as follow:
- Quran states that no child could be born without intercourse, and then it conflicts that angel Gabriel descended to earth and gave Mary the sprit of GOD, so that she could bear a child.
- Then conflicts again that Jesus was born like Adam, but Adam was NEVER born he was created by Allah’s own hands in three steps defined in Quran hence Adam is not born like Jesus at all
Now the Question arises Why this one person in the entire WORLD was created against the laws defined by Allah himself? Does any of the Muslim have any answer for this question? I am all ears to listen the answer which could define this and clear the confusion created by conflicting verses from Quran itself.
Jesus the Spirit of GOD
Quran and Hadith clearly defines not just at one location but at many locations that Jesus had the Spirit of GOD, Isn’t that what Bible states as well that GOD descended his sprit on this earth. That is why it is also commonly stated in Muslim world as “Isa Ruh Allah” means “Jesus the Spirit of Allah” and Also “Isa Kalmatuallah” means “Jesus the Word of Allah” Let’s see how this is stated in Quran.
And the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her our Spirit through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds. (Quran 21:91)
Then again in Chapter 19 verse 18, once again Allah enforces and defines his sprit in Jesus.
And mention, in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east. And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Sprit, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man. (Quran 19:18)
You might encounter many translation where our sprit is not translated at all. This again is problem that Muslim scholars doesn’t even translate a whole word in the verse. They will simply skip the whole word in translation. As a Muslim you must already be reading Quran in Arabic as well, even if not knowing full meanings but still “Roh-hana” can easily be read but in a lot of translations it will not be translated at all, only a few will accurately translate it.
Another verse states it differently calling him the soul of Allah and the truth as well as the word of Allah
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. (Quran 4:171)
Hence according to Islam Jesus is “Isa Ruh Allah” means “Jesus the Spirit of Allah” and Also “Isa Kalmatuallah” means “Jesus the Word of Allah” and it is a common belief among most of the sects of Islam. If both of these statements are true, and Quran is true then where does the question lies for Jesus to be devine? specially when he is with Allah as Allah took him to himself
Jesus is with Allah at the level at the Throne of Allah
Allah took Jesus to himself, and glorified him. None in Quran has this glorification from Allah than Jesus.
[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.(Quran 3:55)
Where is Muhammad? or all the prophets? and Angles? but where is Jesus .... its written in Quran where he is.
Jesus the only sinless
Quran also confirms that Jesus never sinned in his life. How can he sin when he was given all the scriptures at the age of infancy? (Already defined above – Quran Chapter 19:30) He was telling Mary what to do and where to go and telling the people about himself when he is in his cradle.
He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you a faultless boy." (Quran 19:19)
The word in Arabic is ghulaaman-zakiyyan which means most holy, faultless or pure. So pure that Allah said peace was on the day he was born, and even the day he will die and the day he will be raised alive. He is the Truth according to the verse of Quran below
And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive. That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute. (Quran 19:33-34)
So he was still in cradle telling the Jews who he is what he is and he is the truth. Right after he was born and still an infant. So holly from the birth and never a single sin in his life. In hadidth of Sahih al-Bukhari Number 3431
Abu Huraira said, "I heard Allah's Messenger (?) saying, 'There is none born among the off-spring of Adam, but Satan touches it. A child therefore, cries loudly at the time of birth because of the touch of Satan, except Mary and her child." Then Abu Huraira recited: "And I seek refuge with You for her and for her offspring from the outcast Satan" (reference of Quran 3:36)
Even Muhammad committed sin as per Quran. There are some doctrines of Islam who could claims that Muhammad was sinless but it contradicts the Quranic preaching. as below:
So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning. (Quran 40:55)
So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place. (Quran 47:19)
Why would Allah call Muhammad to ask for forgiveness if he was a sinless prophet, In another location Allah gives good news to Muhammad that He the lord may forgive all his past and future sins. This means that he was not sinless but Allah forgave his sins.
Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest, That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path (Quran 48:1-2)
So the only person described in Quran who is sinless is Jesus and all the hadith and Tafsir (commentaries) of Quran confirms based on the above verses.
Miracles of Jesus Christ
There were many miracles of Jesus Quran describes all of them in one single verse.
And a messenger to the Children of Israel, 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah . And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers. (Quran 3:49)
So based on above verse, Jesus Christ had the power to do the following:
- Blow sprit in birds formed from clay and make them breath
- Cure the blind and leper
- Resurrect the dead
- Tell what you are thinking
- What you eat or drink
- What you have kept secret
Yes the verse also says by the permission of Allah. For example my son or daughter have the power to ride a bicycle but he/she is waiting for me to give the permission to do before they would do it. Same is the case with Christ, he had the power but untill the permission was not given he did not do it. But the Islamic scholars states that it is Allah who did that and Jesus was a medium then the verse should be “Allah resurrected the death using Christ” but the verse says otherwise.
If you look at my last article Muhammad according to Quran, you can see that many a times the people around Muhammad asked him to show any miracle and he could not. Quran states clearly that Allah did not give any miracle to Muhammad. So the point is again that Jesus had the power to perform many miracles even resurrection of dead.
Now let’s look at forming birds and breathing sprit into them. Isn’t it what Allah did with Adam when he created him? Most of Christian do not believe it to be true. This can actually be found in the infancy gospel of Thomas but once again the historical critics do not find it to be authentic and was denounced somewhere in 5th century and hence it is not the part of current Bible.
Jesus Death and Resurrection
The next verse in the same chapter is very clear again but Muslims twist it, because if they won’t twist it then Quran is contradicting itself about the death of Jesus.
And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." (Quran 19:33)
He spoke and told everyone about his birth, the death and being resin again from death. There is no doubt after reading the above verse of Quran that this is how Christians says it as well. Muslims will take this verse as the verse showing his death after second coming. Hence if you ask any Muslim he will say Jesus never died on the cross but Allah Raised him alive and Allah replaced him with someone who looked like Jesus. Let’s read from Quran again.
And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. (Quran 4:157-158)
Now here Quran contradicts about the death of Jesus in the above two verses. One which states he died and raised alive, the other which say they did not kill Jesus and Allah made another one to resemble Jesus. The world is used Rafa`ahuAllahu ilayhi this is the same word which has been used in other locations as well for martyrs that you do not know where they are and Allah has raised them to himself. What does raising to Allah means, he is dead from this world and in an after world.
Why Jews tried to Kill Jesus
Quran describes about the Jews trying to kill Jesus but they couldn’t, but Quran doesn't tell us why Jews would even try to kill Jesus?
And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. (Quran 4:157)
The problem with the above verse is that if Jesus is claiming to be Prophet only, Jews would never even try to kill him, as they had many prophets with them. If Jews accept him as the Prophet of Allah and the Messiah as stated by the verse above they do not have ground to kill him. If you visit Israel, you will still find people praying for Messiah to come to this world. One can fine many Jewish songs on youtube calling for Messiah to come to this world.
Now why would Jews kill a Messiah and a prophet of Allah, how could they have done that while feeling proud of doing it as stated in Quran? Does this sound logical by any mean? Why would jews feel proud to kill their own prophet
But Bible tells us that the jews actually asked Jesus to say that you are just a holly man, a prophet, and not the Lord and Messiah. If you say that you are only a prophet of Allah we will let you go free. Quran is not able to explain the reason why they tried to kill Jesus even when they couldn’t, because if it can explain this then there would be no need for another prophet after Jesus.
Another problem comes in why would Allah deceive everyone that Jews killed Jesus? A prophet was sent down, who told the truth to everyone, gave the word of Allah, and then finally when his time to go back, Allah himself deceived all the Jews and Christians and took Jesus to heaven? and did not tell anyone. Now everyone thinks he is dead but he isn't and the whole message of Jesus got destroyed.
Also as Allah is so powerful to do everything why put someone else in misery and let someone else go though the pain of crucification. Why not show the world that Jesus was taken up in heaven and Jews had no power over Jesus? Why deceive all Christian and Jews, Why send down his Word and Spirit when as soon as the prophet carrying the Word would go away from this world the whole Word had to be in confusion and astray all those who followed him? Jesus did so many miracles in his life why can't another miracle be shown as well? There is no answer for that except for different commentaries by different people. If you have an answer I am all ears.
Another question is that Allah the almighty took him to Himself .... how? You have to be dead for this world to go into heaven. Who else went to heaven without being dead? Also in many other verses this same sentence was used for martyrs in battle, are they not dead?
No prophet between Jesus and Muhammad
In Hadith it is narrated by Abu Huraira in Sahih al-Bukhari Number 3442 that there is no prophet between Muhammad and Jesus
I heard Allah's Messenger (?) saying, "I am the nearest of all the people to the son of Mary, and all the prophets are paternal brothers, and there has been no prophet between me and Jesus
In another Hadidth of Sahih Muslim number 2365 b
I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between me and Jesus.
So Muhammad was akin to Jesus and completed his religion, and there was no other prophet between him and Jesus, according to Muhammad himself.
The problem comes in when Quran states differently.
And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it – (Quran 36:13)
When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you." (Quran 36:14)
The tafsir al-jalalayan describes what city is it and what is it talking about as follow: And strike for them as a similitude mathalan is the first direct object the inhabitants ashaba is the second direct object of the town of Antioch Antakya when the messengers namely Jesus’s disciples came to it idh ja’aha’l-mursaluna is an inclusive substitution for ashaba’l-qaryati ‘the inhabitants of the town’. When We sent to them two men and they denied them both from idh arsalna ilayhim ithnayni fa-kadhdhabuhuma to the end is a substitution for the previous idh ‘when’ so We reinforced them read fa-‘azazna or fa-‘azzazna in other words We reinforced the two men with a third and they said ‘We have indeed been sent to you by God’.
Jalalayn did not describe the names of the messangers but ibn Katir actually tells us the names of those messengers as well. Following is the tafsir of Ibn Katir
(a similitude; the Dwellers of the Town, when there came Messengers to them.) In the reports that he transmitted from Ibn `Abbas, Ka`b Al-Ahbar and Wahb bin Munabbih - Ibn Ishaq reported that it was the city of Antioch, in which there was a king called Antiochus the son of Antiochus the son of Antiochus, who used to worship idols. Allah sent to him three Messengers, whose names were Sadiq, Saduq and Shalum, and he disbelieved in them. It was also narrated from Buraydah bin Al-Husayb, `Ikrimah, Qatadah and Az-Zuhri that it was Antioch. Some of the Imams were not sure that it was Antioch, as we shall see below after telling the rest of the story, if Allah wills. (When We sent to them two Messengers, they denied them both;) means, they hastened to disbelieve in them. (so We reinforced them with a third,) means, `We supported and strengthened them with a third Messenger. ' Ibn Jurayj narrated from Wahb bin Sulayman, from Shu`ayb Al-Jaba'i, "The names of the first two Messengers were Sham`un and Yuhanna, and the name of the third was Bulus, and the city was Antioch (Antakiyah).
The Arabic to English translation of Sham’un is Peter and Yuhanna is John and Bulus is Paul. Now the problem is that Paul who is being criticized by Muslims a lot was actually the most powerful who completed the preaching. Now the problem is that they were the apostles of Christ and if Christ can send messenger according to Quran what does it makes Christ. But anyhow that a topic of another day. But we find at least 3 messengers between Muhammad and Jesus and that is according to Quran itself, Hence this creates another contradiction.
Prophesy of Prophet of Islam in Bible
When Christ was spreading the word, according to Quran he told the Jews that there will be someone after me who’s name will be Ahmad (The praised one). Let’s see what the verse in Quran state:
And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic." (Quran 61:6)
We have two problems here:
- Why it doesn’t say Muhammad, yes even though both actually mean the same and some people actually say that Muhammad’s other name is Ahmad but once again why is it not Muhammad, as the name is name and it should be like this in Quran as well.
- If this is the prophesy then it should be in Old Testament if Jesus was referring to the older scriptures of at least in the New Testament as Jesus said it by himself and the Muslims have done so much to find it.
Even if we ignore point 1 and discuss point 2, how can Allah not preserve the word for only 600 years where a verse could state a prophesy of a person who’s name is Ahmad and you cannot find it? Allah should have preserved it for at least 600 years so that his beloved prophet should have shown it to the Jews and Christians that here you go your book tells about my coming. What’s the purpose to state that in Quran when there is no proof of it in Bible? Isn’t Quran preserved in its original form till now according to Muslims. Isn’t Muslims trying to find the name Ahmed or a prophesy of Ahmad in Bible? How can Allah not preserve the world for only 600 years but 1400 years later everything is preserved? None could actually claim that they have found the world Ahmed in Bible or in Torah. (Another article is on its way to define all the rumors of prophesies in OT and NT)
Resurrection of Jesus
According to Islamic belief as per verses above Jesus will be resurrected and come back to this world, the only Prophet who will come back to this world.
And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." (Quran 19:33)
Now what will He do after he comes back to this world, what will be do is described in hadith, the hadith is so authentic that it is narrated and concluded to be Sahih by all the hadith writters i.e. Sunan Abi Dawud 4324, Sahih al-Bukhari 2476, Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2233, Sunan Ibn Majah 4077 and Sahih Muslim 155. Let’s see what it says:
Narrated Abu Hurayrah: I swear by Allah that the son of Mary will certainly descend as a just judge and he would definitely break the cross, and kill swine and abolish Jizya and would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavour to (collect Zakat on it). Spite, mutual hatred and jealousy against one another will certainly disappear and when he summons people to accept wealth, not even one would do so. (Sahih Muslim 155c)
So he will descend on this earth again. How? As a Just Judge. HE will break the cross – really? Why? it’s a piece of wood and he was not even crucified on cross according to Islamic scriptures. How many cross will he break? Ok let’s go with Muslim interpretation that the symbolic cross will be broken (even though it doesn’t say that in any of the hadith I mentioned above). Some even say that the hadith is talking about fighting with the people carrying the cross, so by this logic he will fight with his own followers instead of telling them otherwise. Kill swine? What did swine do to Jesus? I thought swine was just an animal a creation of Allah, why would Jesus come back to earth and kill the swine an animal. Leave the young she camel – What??
Now the second question comes as all Muslims agree that Jesus came with the message of love and suddenly when he will come back he will bring down the message of fight and killing which doesn’t make sense at all.
Conclusion
Quran messed up so many things about Jesus, starting from the lineage till his death on the cross. How can two inspired word of the same GOD be so different? Hence one is wrong, can you point out which one.
- Quran messed up lineage of Jesus Christ, and mixed a lady of 600BC with the mother of Jesus
- Made Jesus spoke in cradle to save Marry being killed by Jews, but why jews waited till he is born to kill an adulteress.
- Made contradictory verses on how Jesus was born, as Quran couldn’t explain the birth at all.
- Cannot explain why ONLY Jesus was born without a worldly father.
- Gave Jesus the spirit of GOD but cannot pronounce divinity.
- Called Jesus the word of GOD, who never sinned while all others are sinners and then could not place him on the right place.
- Quran contradicts on the death of Jesus. Why Allah deceived everyone at that time when he actually took him to heaven anyways.
- Gave him the power to resurrect death and create life yet couldn’t say why no one else had this power.
- Quran could not tell us why Jews tried to Killed Messiah and prophet of Allah, what is the reason if they believed that he is the prophet of Allah.
- Quran tells us about two prophets after Jesus, but hadith says there is none after Jesus.
- Quran tells us that Jesus prophesies about Muhammad, but not a single verse can be found about Muhammad in New or Old Testament.
- Jesus coming back will be a different one and he will kill swine and break cross forever which doesn’t make sense as to why a specific type of animal will be killed by him.
There are contradictions after contradictions in Quran, and Quran actually states that if a book is not from GOD almighty you will find not just one but may contradictions.
Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.” (Quran 4:82)
How many contradictions have we seen in here? By looking at only one person who has been referenced only 95 times in Quran
