All Prophets were Muslim??? |
---|
Muslim Claim that all prophets were muslims, This is more of a recent theory rather than an older one. Actually Quran deny this Quran chapter 6 which is by revelation a 55th chapter i.e. almost half of the quran has been reveled already and still it states
No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.(Quran 6:163)
Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion. And I have been commanded to be the first of the Muslims.(Quran 39:11-12)
The above verse cannot be any more clear. Muhammad is the first of the muslim, then how can someone claim that all prophets were muslims. Also Quran states in chapter 34 which is the 58th chapter by revelation order.
And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, any warner. (Quran 34:44)
Basically no book and no prophet has been sent before Muhammad? So what happened to Torah and Gospel that quran talks about. Isn’t it strange when there are so many prophets before Muhammad, that even Quran spoke of? So what is the point here. Its about Islamic scriptures and Muhammad. Let’s see what Ibn Abbas has to say in tafsir
(And We have given them) i.e. the disbelievers of Mecca (no Scriptures which they study) in which they recite that which they claim, (nor sent We unto them, before thee) O Muhammad, (any warner) any warning Messenger. (Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs)
Considering the both verses its now evident and clear that any excuse in saying that all prophets were muslims is a false accusation and even Quran deny that claim. At the same side Quran tells us in chapter 3 verse 3
He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (Quran3:3)
So if Torah and Gospel is already present, and the people of macca had those revelation with them its also evident from Quran and hadith then verse 34:44 already contradicts with Quran itself.
Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are on nothing until you uphold the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people. (Quran 5:68)
So now in this above verse Quran confirms that Torah and Gospel are not only authentic but people of scriptures has to abide by them and uphold them, then why Quran 3:3 says that these people among Muhammad has no book with them?
But this doesn’t ends here. Muslims Scholars already have the answer that by the essences all the prophet were muslims and not by really muslim muslim and they are muslim as they all talked about worshiping the same GOD.
The first Question is do you agree the Torah and Gospel are books of GOD? Even if you agree that there are some corruption in them because that what muslims are taught since childhood then following questions needs to be answered.
- Starting from Torah God called him self YHWH or pronounced as “Yehova” which you will never find in Quran or Hadith, but rather the GOD of Quran called himself Allah. The answer should be that Allah is the arbic name of the same GOD
- God also called himself Father, (Jer 31:9, Isa 64:8, Isa 63:16, Deu 32:6, 1Ch 29:10) even in the Torah let alone gospel. But Quran clearly deny it (Quran 5:18)
Hence the GOD of Quran and GOD of Bible are not the same GOD. Finally before concluding I would like to post a single verse from bible
"For if some one comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you submit to it readily enough... For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds." (2 Corinthians 11:4, 13-15)
If the question comes for Jesus of Islam and Jesus of Bible the same? The answer is not at all, please read the contradictions here http://adamseekeroftruth.com/JesusOfQuran.html
